Thomas Edward Patrick Brady,Jr. is an American football quarterback for the New England Patriots of the National Football League(NFL). Tom Brady is a California native, born on August 3, 1977 in San Mateo - a suburb of San Francisco.

       Tom Jr. started to play golf at the age of 3, said Tom Sr. By the age of 8, Tom Brady had developed an extreme distaste for losing. Brady's sisters used to taunt him when he lost, but the taunting didn't help, said Tom Sr. Brady was a lightly regarded prospect coming out of college, and was selected in the sixth round of 2000 NFL draft by the New England Patriots.
